How it works

Stampede runs the whole diary from one model. A booking is a party, a time and a set of tables, and every reservation writes back to the guest profile.

how a booking happens
01Availability

Only real slots.

Opening hours, turn times and table capacity decide what a guest can even see.

02Diary

The booking lands.

A party, a start and end time, and the tables it occupies. One model for the whole diary.

03Profile

It writes back.

Made, seated or cancelled, the booking publishes an event that enriches the guest profile.

When you'd use it

Read this first. It explains how the pieces fit together before you configure booking types, tables or charges on the pages that follow.

How it behaves

A booking is the single unit of the diary: a party size, a start and end time, and the tables it occupies. Everything else configures how bookings are made, priced and seated.

Availability is worked out live from your opening hours, turn times and table capacities, so guests only ever see slots you can actually seat. When a booking is made, changed, seated or cancelled it publishes an event in real time, which is what lets a reservation enrich the guest profile and trigger follow-ups.

Bookings arrive by more than one route. Alongside the online booking page and walk-ins, a venue can take phone bookings through an AI host on its own phone number. It answers instantly at any hour, checks live availability, offers your real times and booking types, and creates the booking on the spot, tagged as a phone booking. Names and email addresses are confirmed letter by letter so the confirmation lands, every call is logged with its duration, outcome and a full transcript, and you choose whether it answers every call or steps in only when nobody picks up.

A confirmation can also become a wallet pass. Generated from the venue’s brand kit for Apple Wallet and Google Wallet, it carries the date, time and party size, updates itself when the booking changes, and surfaces a reminder on the lock screen ahead of the visit.

On the floor, the signed-in user at the pass can be switched with a four-digit PIN, with no password, picking up exactly the screen the last person was on.

Good to know

  • A guest books either a booking type or an event, never both on the same booking.

  • Reservations are unlimited, with no per-cover commission.

  • A phone booking is a real booking in the diary, not a message to call back.
