Place a device on the map
- Switch to Map. If it shows Locked, click it so it shows Unlocked.
- Click a device next to Needs location, then its spot on the map.
- Click Unlocked again so devices are not moved by mistake.
Check it worked
The device shows with its new name, and no longer next to Needs location.
Still stuck?
Email support at agent@stampede.ai with:
- Your venue name.
- The device's MAC address.
- A screenshot of the Devices page.
Good to know
- Only the MAC address is needed. The IP address and other details are looked up from the network.
- Leave Device login, in Edit device, on No login unless your IT person asks. It stores the login Stampede uses to reach that device.
- Only Admin, Moderator, Marketing, Reports and IT can see Wi-Fi. See what each team role can see and do.
