See how many turned-away bookings you could have seated

Replay your real bookings to see how many guests a table move or shorter sitting could have seated.

In short: run the test in Bookings › Smart Seating to see bookings a table move or shorter sitting would have seated.

where to find it

Run the test

  1. Go to Bookings › Smart Seating, then choose your venue.
  2. Set From and To. They start on the last 7 days.
  3. Click Run the test. It is read-only: nothing is moved and guests see nothing.
  4. Read Bookings turned away and the openings it found.

Optional switches

  • Shorter sittings allows a slightly shorter sitting when that opens a slot, and saves straight away. Then set Trim by at most and, if you want, a party size limit.
  • Measure it on live searches scores real guest searches without changing anything guests see.

Good to know

  • Guests always see the sitting length before they book.
  • Turn the optimiser on is marked Coming soon.
  • If the replay fails, try a shorter date range.
  • FOH, Bookings Manager, Marketing and IT cannot see Smart Seating.
