Change a price when your products come from Square

Your own product

Open it, change the price under Variants and prices, then click the save button on that row. Square is not touched.

Who owns what

• From Square: names, variants, prices, modifier groups and modifiers (names, prices and how many a guest can pick) and where each item is stocked. A sync hides items Square does not stock there, and puts them back when it does.
• Yours: descriptions, tags, images, hours, Contains alcohol, Service style, Prep time, Limit per order (blank for none), and per venue Hidden at this venue, Sold out and Note to guests here.

The new price shows in Variants and prices and on the menu link.

• The product and venue.
• The price in Square and in Stampede.
• A screenshot of the sync result.

Good to know

• Fields marked Managed in Square, including Price here, change in Square only.
• If a price changes mid-order, the guest sees Prices on this menu have changed. and is not charged until they retry.
• Replace with Square product… swaps one of your own products for the Square one, so its price then comes from Square. See add products.
